The AlpineVenture Forum (AVF)
will be held on June 18th, 2013 in Lausanne, Switzerland.
The event will be a unique occasion for the most promising Life Sciences, Clean Technology and Information Technology entrepreneurs from Switzerlandand its surrounding regions (including Rhône Alpes, Franche Comté, Alsace, Baden Würtemberg, Bayern, Tirol, Aosta, Piemonte, Lombardia, Trentino Alto Adige - Süd Tirol) to meet and present themselves to active international investors and corporations seeking investment and partnerships. AVF will be an important platform to promote a dynamic and professional image of innovative entrepreneurship and venture capital of the Alpine area to the rest of Europe.
The best high growth companies
30-40 early stage companies from Vaud and Switzerland and its surrounding regions will be selected to present at the Forum by the Selection Board, who will asses them on the basis of their business potential, technology merit, competitive position, investment interest and team experience.
The Alpine Venture Forum 2013 is also promoted as a 2013 European Venture Contest Semi-Final, and the top quartile (best 25%) companies from the Alpine Venture Forum have qualified for the European Venture Summit which will take place at the end of 2013.
